Body paintings again. But now they are permanent. I’m talking about tattoos. The term is from Polinesian language and means “drawing”. The word has been introduced to English language in 1773 by a traveller James Cooke. Before this a tattoo was a means of decoration in Europe and didn’t have a separate name. Today it’s a special kind of art with its own gurus, galleries and exhibitions.
