Cockatoo is one of the most artistic and eccentric parrot breeds. This breed has lots of types and subtypes, and unfortunately they are so popular that the quota to move the birds away from where they live is 3-4-6 times higher than it should be. So most of the types are already in the Red Book. And people get their toy and then deny it. The shelters are full, and it’s all very sad. And it’s all because one should learn more about this bird before taking such responsibility. The cockatoos, like most breeds are wild – they can be tamed, but they are wild. They are also very picky and scream a lot. You’ll go mad if your pet is not satisfied with something, and besides, all your neighbors will know about it.
