This is the 36th Pirelli calendar. It was made by Peter Burd who lived in Kenia for 30 years, which made its impact on his photos. The main theme of the calendar was ecology. Even the paper was ecologically clean. It wasn’t easy for models selected for the calendar, because the location was one of the few remaining virginal Africa spots, and it was very wild.
