The Moon revolves around itself and around the Earth in the same period of time, so the Moon is turned to the Earth with one side al the time. Because of this we can see only 59% of the Moon’s surface. We call the side of Moon we can’t see “The other side of Moon”. It was first photographed by a Soviet Moon station Moon 3 in 1959.
