As we all know, ceramic cookware is great for food and for kitchen, because it is natural and good looking. But did you ever think how modern clay converts into pots and pans? We want to introduce you to the process with the help of Xtrema Cookware.
On first day patented ceramic material is mixed into ceramic clay.
Then the clay is shaped with a pressing mold and high pressure casting mold.
On day three drying and quality control inspection are performed.
Then newly formed cookwareis polished.
Cookware still can be washed and smoothed with a water
At day 7 product achieves the oven and if fired there
Next day ceramic cookware is unloaded and cooled down.
In a few days, usually it is day 10, the cookware is glazed by dipping the entire product into a ceramic glaze bath. Ceramic glaze is then sprayed a second time with a compressed air spray gun. It allowed to dry then one more quality control inspection is made
Then the cookware is loaded back into the kiln for the 2nd firing
The next day cookware is unloaded from the kiln racks and undergoes one more quality control inspection.
After cooling it down back label stamp applied and underside of the product is covered with a glaze.
…and the final manual quality control.
All the process takes approximately 18 days.
Then cookware is packed and shipped in large containers to the destination.
