The author of these great illustrations is Amy Sol, she’s a talented girl from Korea. She herself defines the style she works in as a mix of folk-art and manga. To make the pictures less rough, she adds some vintage. The pictures are made on wood with acrylics and oil. This genre is becoming more and more popular.
We once had a post about the sad ends of cartoon characters. But you can’t always guess what happened to them by their skeletons. And there are some other versions, why they stopped appearing in our TVs with new exciting adventures, although they didn’t disappear altogether (you can still download the cartoons).
For anime lovers I gathered animated avatars over the Interner. I’m not going to post much, I think 30 per news will be enough, and there’s going to be space for adding more here. So I’ll be posting them in small portions. All avatars are 100*100, you can download them by right-clicking on the avatar and selecting Save object as. The rest of the animated avatars is in the full news.

Magical cartoons by Stuart Green load you with very kind positive. You’ll definitely like them. Some cartoons have a whole story behind them. For example, Gerald and his blue cat. From giving the cat as a birthday present for Gerald to joint flights. And here they are
so smile! Say “cheeeeeese”!
Cartoon pictures in the style of Happy Tree Friends. I don’t know how big the army of fans of this cartoon is, but for some reason people like such cartoons. A variation on the topic of violent cartoons all over the world from an artist Ana Bagayan. Those of you who are tender people, beware!
Simply brilliant idea from a designer and illustrator Eduardo Sarmiento. If it weren’t for the freedom of speech and self-expression, he could have gotten a lot of haters for his sharp words. The Church would definitely not understand this irony. Besides the cynical humour, I really liked the detail that was present at each picture that had legs in it. Those were the almighty Converse Shoes ![]()
This funny style doesn’t have a name yet, but as such pictures are adored by emo kids, I think we can call it emo style in graphics. Evgeny Artsebasov works as a designer in a small company, and in his spare time he draws such funny little guys and monsters. A person should be doing what he can do best. And you’ll agree, that it’s Evgeny’s gift to draw in emo style. You HAVE to watch that. Pleeeeease ![]()
Layers of acrylic paint, gouache, and crayons that have been converted into computer graphics with the help of a good old Photoshop. Those pictures could easily go great with children’s tales. The artist’s name is Vicky Jones. Vicky says that inspiration comes from her childhood memories, tales and cartoons. The pictures are so much alive, that they give you the feeling of childhood and magic.
I love such cartoons. They are sooo cute ))) You have to look at thise pictures. I could die of adoration. Pink Ipod and smiling sandwiches are something. Let’s not forget about the author, Kasy. The links to her gallery are written on some pictures. By the way, the first picture is called “pikachuemofinal”. We decided to rename it into Picachu’s gene mutations ![]()
Aaron is both a musician and an artist, which is natural for very talented people. The style of his paintings is peculiar. This person remotly reminds of another musician-artist (a little by the style of drawing) – Mike Shinoda. A few heroes on the painting you will undoubtedly adore. I’d also like to mention Aaron’s official website separately. His flash-website is constructed in a very interesting way. Amazing!

So touching.
So sweet.
So EMOtional.
Every decent emo-kid knows the teddy-bears, as they represent something romantic and sweet.

Anime avatars. Usually such avatars are sought after by devoted anime fans, but even those who saw them accidentally have trouble refusing such and avatar.

Illustration in the style of Dexter’s Laboratory. And I don’t think this similarity is accidental. A Spanish artist Alex Fito writes and draws illustrations to the children’s comics. But lately Alex Fito has been working on his new comic book and drawing political caricatures for a local newspaper.
