Hand Bodyart

There is whole body bodyart, there are tattoos on different body parts and the like – even on the eyebrowa and the lips, but this is the first time I came across HAND BODYART. To be honest, it made me feel very excited. I really think you should look at the whole selection, from the beginning to an end.

Elf Pictures

WOW and LA have changed the usual perception of elves a little. Traditionally, in the German-Scandinavian and Celtic folklore elves were bright magical creatures that lived in the woods. And our favorite MMORPG have changed the elf a little. And by the way, it’s all for the best. The elves’ distinctive feature are their pointed ears. I suggest we watch some pictures of different kinds of elves….and of different professions.

Your Home

As you know, dear guest, your home is your fortress. Your home becomes a special fortress when it’s hard to get there. Not because of super-security and alarms but because the house has no doors and windows. By looking at these pictures I get the same feeling as when looking at people’s faces with their mouths removed by Photoshop. The author is Christiane Feser. There’s no people on the pictures. Is everybody in the houses? It could be a funny game.

From a Portfolio

Great pictures from a portfolio of a novice photographer Cody Bin (a.k.a RidgeviewxKid). For now he’s his own photographer and model, if you don’t count his photogenic sisters. You’ll have to see for yourself by watching Cody’s portfolio.

Office Work

It’s impossible to spend your whole day in the office and work non-stop. The evening is far away, work is very slow and boring, but no one will let you go home early. So what’s there to do? Entertain as a team! For example, flashmob. Act as though nobody knows anyone and everybody hides behind an anonymous mask. The couriers will definitely be surprised.

Cloning

Highly professional and very original photos by Phillip Toledano from the Hope and Fear series. There is nothing fearful in those photographs, but everyone can think of a reason for such a name by himself. I would say it’s cloning, cloning in large volumes. From ears to breasts :)

City of Dreams

City of dreams by an artist Kate Turning is full of bright colors and nice images. This sweet illusionary city is bound to have you like it, especially if you are in a peaceful state. It’s either a fairy tale, or a dream. Beautiful, isn’t it?

Photos of Brides

I could go on and on about the bride’s dress. Especially if I tried to find out where some clothes rituals come from. Well, no one would argue that the groom has to wear a nice suit. But the bride’s dress is much more complicated. Even the veil, a symbol of shyness and innocence, raises a lot of questions. What color should it be and is it necessary at all. There is one interesting theory. A girl who turned mature, was married in the veil often, to make it a “blind” marriage. Let’s feel sorry and look at some photos of brides by Kimiko Yoshida. The season’s hit that our website absolutely loved, is the pokemon bride. Although brides in Ancient Greece also put on yellow veils.

As usual, everything brilliant is simple. We’re regarding a very interesting concept of Cartoon Characters in Allan Deas’s photographs as brilliant. All pictures contain two or more shots, and those shots are somehow alike. That’s why they’re Cartoon Characters. The shot’s meaning is either very close, or the same.

Folds

Nothing you haven’t seen before. Sheets of white paper, thrown across the floor that together make a large field of folds. By the way, the series is called Folds, too. If the author, Christiane Feser, hasn’t clarified it, it would be hard to understand whether it’s silk or paper. Very simple to do it, but at least very interesting.

From the Youth

Jamie Carter’s pictures (he’s a traveling artist) give flashbacks to a very active youth. Sports, photography, graffiti, comfortable colorful running shoes. Carter can remember lots of things. You should enjoy it while you’re young and remember it all your life. Jamie says: “Of course, I still love my yo-yo”.

Under Water

My heart is aching when I see those little kids who can’t even walk, being underwater. But if you don’t think about it, the pictures are really nice. The family pictures underwater are especially sweet. But those are not simply portraits-to remember. Those are professional photos by urchin rock.. in the pool’s blue water.

Freaks

This is practically a photo-freak show, organized by a creative union big rocket, that consists of two photographers – Will and James. We’d like to show you a series of pictures under a great name: Stand Here Please wink People were virtually torn out of: National Feline Club, Gothic Festival, Erotics, European Body Building competition, Star Wars Club and Dog Competitions. Those people are actually not freaks. But the company is so carefully selected that it really looks like a parade of weird people.

Blooming

This is a lot like the pictures we posted a couple of months ago. The photographer Jackson Stakeman took a not-so-new idea of copying colors from flowers and putting them on the models’ faces. The series is called “Blooming” (or “In Color”). Let’s review all details of make-up in Blooming.

Laundry Room

Photographs by Fabrice Gallez from Fashion department. A very interesting place was chosen for such photosessions – a self-service laundry room. Some beautiful photos that tell about the desperate fate of washing pink Dolce Vita underwear.

Sheep

I want to respond to this title with the title of Makarevich’s book: You are a sheep yourself! And we’re really going to talk about sheep. Little, white, and plastic ones caught at spot by a photographer Peter Hapak!!! I wonder what they have in mind. Maybe, they want to rule the world? fellow

Weird

Sometimes photographers, like, for example, Juventino Mateo, stretch their fantasy so much that you can’t even understand whether it’s original or weird. In any case it’s for the audience to decide. The guy in black paint, a woman in a bead helmet, little boy with a ring in his lip… No, these are weird pictures after all.

Mutants

A series of photographs called Dead Mutants by a photographer Eric Bottero. I was impressed by the unique style of working with negatives plus graphics that helps to reproduce parts of the mutants. The author’s portfolio is overflowing with interesting and beautiful works. The stylistics is similar, but the themes are all different. It’s all a little gloomy, though.

Sebjaniak is a person who does design, photography, shooting videos, advertising etc. It’s no wonder that such a busy person wanted to create his own surreal and exaggerated world at least on the pictures. Big crazy world as imagined by a creative person.

Violence

Don’t think we’ve become crazy and will post pictures where people are treated violently. This is just the name of a series of pictures by Jenni Tapanila. The girl doesn’t have an art education and photography is not her main occupation. The pictures are either gothic or depressive emo. By the way, if you are fragile, you shouldn’t watch those. And if you think about repeating them, don’t even try!!! Just so you know, blood is dye and corn syrup, and the cuts and the other are Photoshop. The main picture is also very interesting: the girl simply has pierced tongue, and the needle was carefully inserted instead of a ring. Impressed?

Transformations

The pictures were inspired by the air’s movement and the possibilities of human mimics. And, of course, the ability of the camera to capture a successful and interesting shot. It’s unusual and beautiful.

Conceptual

Dave Nitsche was aiming from the start to unite human emotions with human’s everyday surroundings. The aim of this union is the most original concept that your own imagination can afford. Usually that’s how concept art is created. By the way, I like such pictures because they make great avatars. But you’ll have to make them yourself. You’re welcome to share your thoughts about the pictures.

Psycho

Colin Blakley – is a lonely depressed person. Maybe it’s a created image for self-promotion, or it’s an eternal soul state of the artist. The photographer’s biography is more like the confession of a psychotic person. Whatever it is, fear, emptiness and desperation are the main filling of Colin’s works. Horrible photos. Just like shots from some psychological thrillers that give you goosebumps.

Phantom of the Opera

The Phantom of the Opera is the name of the most unusual series of photos, in my opinion. The photographer is a Frenchman Denis Olivier. His father introduced Denis to art. After he became inspired with an expo of black&white photos that he visited as a child, he only works with this style till now. I really think you should visit the photographer’s website.

Gothic Pictures

The works of a photographer Tom Chambers bring not only fear, but sometimes pure horror, those horrid gothic photos are not scary from the first sight, but just look carefully into each of them… It won’t be long before you see the effect. I think scary photos are a thing for this photographer. And for those who won’t see anything in those pictures, there is still a chance to look at professional gothic pictures, but no more.

Grotesque

A little overexaggerated reality by a German photographer Ilan Hamra along with duality of situations and time. Not all the pictures are hyperbolical, there are some simply beautiful pictures such as a plane on the background of blue sky. But something is wrong here. What’s wrong with the clouds? You’ll have to think a little bit. The pictures’ style is easy and mysterious. I hope you’ll like them, too.

Pictures of People

The pictures of celebrities made by a French photographer Gérard Rancinan. To be specific: a football player Zidan, former Palestina’s leader Yasir Arafat, Bill Gates, person-wolf Dannie. I got the impression that Girard is a very serious photographer. Let’s not jump to coclusions, you just have to look a couple of provoking pictures. So it’s a MUST SEE. Geisha

In Japan, a geisha is a woman who underwent a long-term and diverse preparation (learning to dance, sing, music, knowing how to conduct a conversation etc.) and hired by the arrangers of receptions to play the hostess, entertain guests and create a relaxed atmosphere in a male company. Has everybody watched the movie Memoirs of a Geisha? Beautiful, isn’t it? If you haven’t seen it, I can mail you a DVD on the condition that you will then mail it to somebody else, and that somebody will do the same thing. Deal? :)
