A wedding is a very important, and, ideally, a once-in-a-lifetime event. And it’s also funny and unusual. There’s probably no two same weddings, although there are often similar wedding photos. But not on this website and not today. Humorous wedding photos from the best wedding photographers. Besides, they are united into an association which should help friendship, mutual understanding and creativeness.
Would you like some mushrooms? Well, we’ve got them! But I don’t recommend eating them. They’re nice, of course, but not edible. And they’re capable of eating someone themselves. Of course, if that anyone allows them to grow on it. For now it’s only trees. But who knows what will happen. The mushrooms are almost as old as the cockroaches. And the roaches even outlived the dinosaurs.
Usually when you get an X-ray, it’s in some very boring hospital room, and you understand that you’re a regular person, that your life isn’t easy and you’re very far away from art. Probably this is why X-rays are always so boring. But if you add some inspiration to this and think positively, something much more interesting and even colorful should come up. And the most important thing – don’t forget to bring your dog to the X-ray.
France and Russia have many ties. And France, as well as Russia, can be pictures from up above. It’s going to be interesting although not unusual.
Is it a gloomy Monday morning? It’ll always be better with Discovery channel. And they like everybody – even the long-gone Egyptian Pharaohs and gigantic octopuses.
Russia is large. And all large things are best seen from a distance or from great height. So to see the most and the best of it, it’s enough to get into a helicopter and take pictures of everything you see. It should turn out nicely, just like in our today’s selection. And be patient, as there are many pictures here, even though much less than there are beautiful and interesting places in Russia.
Planes are extremely important. We all know this simple truth since childhood. Later, having grown up, we understand why is that. Any normal person after seeing the pilots’ cabin (cockpit) should become amazed. Just reading the names of the devices would take hours for a regular person. And the pilots deal with them all in a very short time that is just barely enough for us to eat.
Good evening, I’ll be brief. I’ve only got one photo today, but it’s such a photo. It was made almost 8 years ago by a wood fire specialist John McColgan. If he weren’t working, he could become a rich person by selling these photos. But as he was working, this photo belongs to all the people according to US law and cannot be sold.
Ladislav Kamarad is from Chech republic. He makes photos of different places on our planet, trying to choose the most beautiful and extreme places. In his list he’s got Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Mexico, Namibia, New Zealand, and, of course, Chech republic. We can enjoy all this beauty at the comfort of our own homes.
Global warming, melting of icebergs… This is not good. Otherwise why would a Belgian designer Vincent Collebot who lives in a country with access to the sea, start to make projects of swimming cities? Of course, they’re not big, maximim 50 thousand people. But 210 of such ships could contain the whole of Belgium. And one would be enough for Switzerland. How this device will swim (or walk?) in the ocean – I don’t quite understand yet, but I’m sure it will be ecological and clean.
The nature doesn’t have bad weather? Oh yes, it does. Tell this to those who lost their roof from this weather – the storm, lightning, and rain will seem like something well-known if you get to locations that are close to the tornado. But all bad things will end sometime and there will be bright skies and sun will shine into your windows, if any are left, of course.
I suggest you look at some photos of what you’re never going to see for real. And if you’re going to see them, it’s going to be totally different. Kyiv photos, made in the beginning of the century are not only a technical achievement, but also an impassionate fixation of what could have become of Kyiv if time had no power over cities and people.
We’re used to seeing the world in color, and on the pictures as well. But for many the process of making color photos was a secret up until 90s, and some could hardly believe that the color photoprocess that became the prototype of modern film, was invented in 1903. At those times glass plates were used instead of film, and photoemulsion was made of starch. So, another trip to the past, 2 generations before digital photography.
Incredible, on the border of mysterious, and sometimes even impossible. On the Earth, of course. From space – close or far – it doesn’t matter, it’s all seen as rather usual and you see it 22 times a day – just take it. So next time when you can’t sleep at night because of a creative crisis, just get the tickets to a spaceshio and go to the nearest orbit for some inspiration.
When you fly over the south of Germany, you can see this country from far away. When compared to cloud-covered flat Germany, it looks like God-damned land – everything is so uneven. Naked rocks and the snow. But when you are inside, you clearly understand that you’re in a small and strictly guarded heaven, and the mountains are just a secure protection of this small pure greatness. So, a little bit of Switzerland.
A very rare country of windmills, tulips and legalized marijuana, that makes one proud of it and its citizens. This is an example of tolerance and openness. Its population is less than New York City population, and the queen rides her bike to work. It has people who have fought 20% of their territory from the sea and have left another 20% for now. In 2007 it got second place for the level of Internet penetration, having lost by 0.2% to Norway. By the way, the name Holland is wrong, it’s just the name of 2 provinces of 12. The correct name is Netherlands.
Amazing macro-photos of flowers. You must have seen such photos by Kiki Plumier. I don’t know the name of the author of these photos, and I’m very sorry about this. I’d like to know the name of a person whose photos rise such emotions. It’s a melting and lighting world of flowers from the inside, that no one has ever done before, and it’s exciting and makes you feel lile a small person in fantasy world.
In the selection are the pictures of Hiroshima these days, everything that’s left of ut. The photos are of good quality and their size is 1024×680, so they can even be used for wallpapers. I’m speechless over what people can do. It’s like a game of war. It’s like they didn’t realize, they just obeyed orders and did what we were told. Look at the pictures before the bombing and after it.
The planet Mars has been named because of the god of war due to its bloody-red color that is very well seen and very easy to spot while watching it through the telescope. In the times of Pyfagor (IV century B.C.) the Greeks called this planet Faethon which means shining. Aristotle (IV century B.C) has named Mars Ares after the name of the god of war.
One of the most exciting sights on the planed is the underwater world! The diver is probably the best profession in the world. Just imagine – every day you dive into the world of beauty and art. Of course it has its own dangers – the sharks and others won’t let you enjoy the sights peacefully, but we don’t have to be afraid of the sharks, we just have to go to the full news and enjoy.
It’s winter, and it’s hot, my congratulations! It’s been some time since we’ve had the holidays, thought of presents, and made many decisions. And I think there are some lucky guys who were able to play in the snow. To make winter even more important, let’s look at some winter landscapes.
The most famous city in Italy is Rome. If you haven’t been to this eternal city yet, then you would want to walk Rome’s streets at least once, sit in a small street cafe and look at the sights. Rome is the most ancient city in the world with rich architecture. You should thank the photographer Karsten Thormaehlen for small pieces of Rome.
Nice photos of running seashore waves by a photographer Clifford Ross. On the author’s website you can find the pictures of the shooting process. Funny sight. The pictures are black and white, although I think that the sight of sea (blue) wave would have been more beautiful. Oh… I want my vacation ![]()
Raymond Meier is from Switzerland. But he’s been working in the United States for about 20 years. He mostly does luxurious pictures. But the series of photographs with incredible architecture is, of course, more interesting. He probably had to travel half the world to find such buildings.
I couln’t help posting some more pictures of flowers. How could I resist. They are so tender, sweet and fragile. I really like those photos. They are so light and weightless. Cool!
