A small studio from Estonia specializes only in developing unusual beautiful fonts. But this is only a commercial offer, you can’t get the fonts for free. This post has demonstrations of pictures, written with some HandMadeFont fonts. At least, it should motivate other people to think of their own unique font, that can be used to sign an electronic postcard. It’s not complicated at all.

Eat me is the title of the first picture. The author is a 20-year-old Lizzy John from New York. To be honest, when I first looked at the pictures, I got the impression that the artist is a professional who’s been doing computer graphics for all her life. The images are so clear and concise. The characters are very unearthly, and their environment is as well. How can this be born in the imagination?

If you think about that, each picture consists of tens and hundreds of layers with different colors and transparency levels. In the end there is a masterpiece. These are the drawings by an Italian girl Nonnetta. She’s got really interesting photos in her portfolio. They’re fresh, with a feeling of reality. But I really liked the series of drawings Blue background. It looks almost like a comic. Besides, the topic of sad head-balls who are chasing hearts, is really for my mood.

Boys Love graphics. It’s either because love between boys is meant, or because the author really likes to draw boys. The graphics is very interesting – of-hand-art. It’s something average, actually. It’s beautiful with nothing too much. If you like this, there’ll be one more selection.

Christopher Pope (the author of these works) fell in love with wild nature when he was a child and lived in small villages of Southern Australis. Animals, birds, nature inspire him a lot and make him want to share his emotions with other people. The drawings are very live, I should say. You won’t notice how they are different from photos on a small scale – that’s how great all details are drawn.

Sheharzad Arshad is not an ordinary person. He’s known by many nicknames, mainly because of his activity as an illustrator. And, you know, it’s really boring to sign your own name in a profession like that. His pictures and cartoons are rather funny. But if you can’t stand black humor, you won’t see any fun in them. His works are rather famous – as famous as black humor itself.

The author of these drawings is an illustrator Sinad Jaruartjanapat from Thailand. And it seems that Sinad is a real gamer. Although it’s not surprising, as Korea, the main supplier of games, is relatively close to him. Sinad likes fantasy style, because there are no limits to an imagination in it. But the author draws game characters more often, for example, Dragonwar Tactics, Elitism, Final Fantasy and the Perfect World.

Perfect pieces of art by a 23-year-old artist from France. This is absolute professionalism, that either lonely geniuses or students who picked the right place to study have. Diane Özdamar belongs to both categories. Her art-gallery will move everyone. Just imagine, it6 took 7-50 hours for Diane to finish each painting – depending on how complex they were, of course.

There once lived a girl who really liked to draw. But her boring work didn’t give her enough time for that and killed all the creativeness in her. So one day the girl quit her office work and became a freelance artist. The works of this girl, Melani Sie from Indonesia re what we’re going to see now. The selection mainly has cartoon kids. Maybe they’re symbolic for Melani, like a new life.

The cartoon Shrek came out in 2001 and got almost $500 million. Dreamworks owes this success to its artists and animators. Erwin Madrid, while he was still in art school, was allowed to work on Shrek. Later he became a visual developer. Well, what can I say. Here are sweet pictures with bears of different elements, so to say you can choose any of them. The author is a 26-year-old Australian with a million of drawing ideas that struggle to be free. Right now, she is held only by the financial aspect – tablets are costly, you know…. In my opinion, she’s best with chibics, like on these pictures with bears.

We’ve already posted some fractal art.  This time it’s more complicated. The fractals are placed into decorations and create a live picture. These are not just complicated patterns, but a try to convey the form of some subjects through some things. For example, tulip fields, grapes or a bouquet of chamomilles. There is a popular game Night Watch, and it has this photo of Red Square on the first page. As a rule, a few options are always created for such project. And you’ll have a chance to evaluate them. The author is M.Pavel.

So, the seven deadly sins: anger, jealousy, greed, lust, laziess, vanity and gluttony. It’s hard to find who defined them like this. But each person has easily made the needed associations. Marta Dahlig has created what is probably the most expressive series of pictures on the topic of deadly sins. I won’t be surprised if you’ve come across these pictures already.

A series of gothic cartoons The Horror Forest (Dark Forest)by an artist Patricio Oliver. The series is not commercial, it was created just to tell about weird characters that might live near us, but in 3D personification. Patricio Oliver reminded me of Tim Barton with his pale and weird characters.

White Snow is the name of the title picture. I really liked the combination of the colors and the precise drawing. Where snow is, must be someone in red the size will fit for wallpapers. It’s computer graphics using Corel Painter. The author is a Canadian student Qinni. He does cartoon drawings, some of them have great plot.

European, American and Japanese gamers have lots of fun playing an RPG Anima. One of them, Wen-m, draws his favorite characters and heroes of the game.

Why would anyone need character design? Well, it could be used for a game, cartoon or advertisement. If there is demand, there is an offer. And, by the way, this offer is very nice, even though it has teeth. The author is torka from Urugwai, and he does character design: different cartoon monsters, robots and sea dwellers. They would look great on avatars.

Pictures and postcards that are Christmas-themed. Christmas has long passed, but still. It’s a great family holiday, and this is what matters. Unfortunately, I don’t know who’s the author. The pictures are large so they weigh a lot.

Alice in Wonderland is probably envious of the landskapes and characters by Kluke (from Russia). They do have something in common, don’t you think? Or they don’t? Or is it obvious, but I just can’t put my finger on it? Oh, and there’s the White Rabbit…

It’s a beautiful picture, isn’t it? Well, it’s beautiful, but it’s not a picture. It’s just photorealistic graphics. You could even call it vector graphics. This picture consists of a huge number of layers (600 – 4,000), that were drawn just using the mouse and Photoshop. How? A Pen Tool, that everyone is so afraid of. And you shouldn’t be, because if you learn how to use it once, you’ll always surprise people with beautiful vector pictures. This selection has lots of images of celebrities.

There’s something from optical illusions in the works of this Spanish artist. At least that’s the impression I hot from looking at the first works. Then you understand that not everything was great in her life. It’s all gloomy and not joyous. Well, it’s a typical autumn mood. But don’t even think about suicide, you’ve got to go to work tomorrow.

I don’t know who’s Barnaby Ward, and I don’t know what he wanted to tell with his album Sixteen Miles to Merricks, but I definitely like his works.

The creative soul of Bente Schlick draws very beautifully and lightly. And this is just what a soul should do.

We haven’t had graffiti here for a while, especially from such acknowledged masters like Robert Banksy. Banksy works in a very recognizable satirical manner. He writes (not paints) about things that worry him. His works became first samples of street-art that were sold for tens of thousands of pounds, and that happened on Sotheby’s auction. His graffiti can be seen in many countries, although he leaves most of his works on London walls. That’s probably why in 2007 he was acknowledged as the greatest among living British artists. Of course, he did not come to the award ceremony, because he hides for all these years and very seldom gives interviews.

Hot Brazilian guy Mateu Velasco makes hot Brazilian vector pictures. It’s hard to convey mood in a couple of colors, but it seems he’s good with this. And the absence of lots of colour surely allows to be distracted by details – and there are lots of them on his pictures.

We have a guest from Brazil here. There are lots of wild monkeys and Mateu Velasco, as well as Will Murai. But Will is completely different. His works are not as graphic, they have more color and space for fantasy. But he’s got enough realism, too.
